This is all I bought off the album, a group of songs that would have made a great EP called Paraless. The few gems in this album I compiled into a YouTube playlist. Framed Album Cover Print 12x12in 30.5×30. Printed on FUJI photographic paper and finished in our custom 25mm MDF frames these 12 inch prints really make a musical statement. When they worked with what they knew and stopped messing with pop elements that just didn’t fit the instrumentation or sound of the band. This 30.5×30.5cm print features the artwork to the classic 1970 Black Sabbath self titled album. I have to say the best of the parts of this album were when they just kept it simple. Choruses fall in energy, lead guitars don’t provide rhythm or melodic value, and the overall melodies are predictable at best. People have been saying that the new sound is so much more grown up, but the lyrics are not as hard hitting and almost every song is a girl yelling about the brothers leaving. The songs are poorly constructed as if fumbled through by an infant.
#PARAMORE SELF TITLED ALBUM COVER WITH LOGO FULL#
It has resulted in a mismatched album that is too long and full of B-sides. Simultaneously, this album combines songs that sound very much old school Paramore. Paramore’s new sound is very poppy and has lost much of the edge it used to have. Since then, Paramore has kept going, but of course line-up changes directly equate to music styling changes. Paramore has been a favorite band of mine in the past, and I am deeply saddened by the departure of the Farro brothers. Now was such a let down for me, and Still Into You was subpar as well. I knew that I would have to listen to it, and I also had a strong hunch that I would not like the album. It was a sad day for me when this album came out.
